Our Valentines Surprise on the Farm

I like to think that I’m fairly savvy when it comes to farm life. I grew up with all manner of different animals and have had my share of triumphs and failures in that area. My daughter seems to be following in my animal-loving footsteps, because all the child wanted for Christmas was a lamb. Well, there aren’t a lot of lambs around in December. We settled for a young-ish goat that has taken to following her around like a dog and greeting me in the kitchen window each morning.

You can imagine my surprise when I peeked into her stall and saw an extra set of feet! It turns out Aida did get her baby, and she’s taking the job of goat sitter pretty seriously.
