Fertilize Your Mind

My brother-in-law Grayson
is studying sustainable agriculture in college
and he is always telling us about the new things
he is learning, so I thought it would be a good idea to share
some knowledge with you guys!

Here is the first edition of

Tip of Week

The weather is getting nicer &
planting season is upon us.
Not everyone has the necessary tools to
prepare their gardens,
so naturally those who do
often lend out their tractors & equipment.
An important thing to remember
is to always rinse the soil off of your
tractor and implements before moving it
from one location to another.
This prevents the spread of
pests & possible garden diseases.

That is very good advice. your great grandpa, Calvin always washed his tools and equipment before storing them. They lasted a lot longer that way also. Benny always washes out from under his mower and 4-wheeler, and etc. each time he uses them, and they look and work like new. Great advice!

It’s important to take care of your equipment. I think people are too quick to just buy new stuff these days & don’t value what they have.
