I’ve finally written down some of my favorite essential oil diffuser blends for fall and winter packed with fir, spice, and citrus oils to make your home feel cozy and warm. The minute the air turns crisp, you can catch me filling my diffuser with all the fall and winter scents; fir, cinnamon, vanilla. I can’t get enough of the cozy, spicy oils. I’ve come up with so many concoctions over the years that I had a hard time keeping them all straight in my head, so I started writing them down and wanted to share them with you here.

Not All Essential Oils Are Created Equal
Have you ever been browsing the aisles at TJMaxx when you come across a pack of “100% Pure” essential oils for less than ten bucks? I’m all for a good deal, but if it sounds too good to be true, chances are that’s because it is. If you read the fine print on these bottles you will see that they aren’t recommended for use around pets, they shouldn’t come in contact with your skin, and they definitely shouldn’t be ingested.
My thoughts are, if you’re using essential oils to scent your home, then you already know just how toxic traditional air fresheners and wall plug-ins are, and are probably trying to avoid them. Buying cheap, synthetic, artificially fragranced oils kind of defeats the purpose. Also, when you buy high-quality essential oils, you are able to use them not only to scent your home, but also in your home apothecary for natural medicines and recipes.
